  1. HE was born on born 15 January 1986.
  2. Despite being a household name in the South African Premiership at Kaizers Chiefs, Willard Katsande lost his father at nine.
  3.  After his father’s death life took a sharp turn downwards forcing him to be a vendor, herd boy and field farmer in the rural areas to make ends meet.
  4. He has a personal relationship with Kaizer Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung since joining the club in 2011 and was spotted by Motaung while he was on international duty with Zimbabwe in a match vs rival neighbors Zambia (Chipolopolo).
  5. He previously played for Frontier Steel, Feruka,Highway and Gunners FC in Zimbabwe and Ajax Cape Town before joining Kaizer Chiefs.
