FRESH Joy company has donated blankets and cleaning detergents to Teen Rescue Mission (TRM) in support of its work of reaching out to affected families during Covid 19 and lockdown at their offices in Harare.
Fresh Joy which employs youths came out in supporting the humanitarian work done by TRM which focuses on fighting against drugs and sexual abuse among young people.
Speaking on the handover of the blankets and detergents, Mr Talent Mavura the marketing manager of Fresh Joy expressed joy partnering with the organization in the humanitarian work.
“We are a product of Teen Rescue Mission and our company have a 100 percent youth employment,” he said.
“Teen Rescue Mission gave us all support in starting the company and this has helped in bringing employment to youths with qualifications in Sales and Marketing, IT, Accounting, General work and all skills. This has helped youths to be busy and them being busy it helps them from crime, drugs and all bad ways.
“As a company after seeing what the organisation have donated in groceries to the vulnerable families challenge with lockdown, we felt that as we going into winter, we have the organisation give warm and cleanness to vulnerable families through our donations. From our first sales we have done we felt to do our support to the families. As a company growing, we will keep supporting the organization as we work in building clean and great future for young people.”
Mrs Precious Hakurekwi-Kativhu, youth counsellor for TRM who received donation on behalf of the organization expressed joy and appreciation to the company.
She thanked the youth executive of the company on the move of remembering the less privileged.
Mrs Kativhu encouraged the company to keep the spirit and employ more youths as this will help even in building our economy and help in fighting against crime and drug.
Fresh Joy company produces Dishwasher, toilet cleaner, degreaser, multi-purpose cleaner, Foam bath, tile and carpet cleaner and engine cleaner.
