Margaret launches La Bella Body Café
SKINCARE consultant Margaret Mukundwi has launched La Bella Body Café which offers an array of skincare products.
La Bella Body Café offers Sorbet, Portia M, Signature and Mukaranga products which are natural skincare products.
In an interview on the launch of La Bella Body Café at Chez Zandi in Belgravia last week, Margaret said as a child she was always particular about her skin and always wanted skincare products.
The launch was attended by socialites and celebrities from across the city who came to support Margaret on her launch.
“I was into skin products and I was so into quality products. I would go for my shopping when I was going to school and would by a shower gel and my grandfather would ask me what I needed it for as I was too young to be using it. I would tell him that I do not like to use cheap soaps.
“I was so particular about brands that I used. I was so particular about my skin, about what I use, about what I get into and as a child I always get into the ingredients of the products that I will be using because if felt I did not have the good skin that I wanted to have. Because of that reason I fell in love with skin care products,” Margaret said.
She said after endless efforts to secure a job she engaged into Avon, Oh Soul Heavenly, Bramely and Sorbet among other skincare products which she would use first before introducing them to her clients.
“I then met Mrs Sandra Chemusoro who told me that she was training people to make skincare products and she invited to come and make my own products. I then went for the perfume training training at first then I went salts training and other things.
“At some point and time, I tried to partner with a friend and we were looking for an exotic name until we decided to call it La Bella body Café and I remember at that point our pay off line was like confidence accentuated but with time we you end up improving your brands,” she said.
Margaret said as the festive season begins she hopes that La Bella Body Café will attract more customer as it sells natural products with no additives.
