ZIMBABWEAN born artist Kudakwashe Morgan Mabuto popularly known as Captain Kuda in the music industry has left music enthusiasts hunger for more with his new hit single “I’m Back” released on November 13.

Based in the city of Gold Coast in Australia Captain Kuda has a strong unmatched passion for music since primary school when he started writing his own songs.

The new hit single “Im Back” talks about how the youthful artist has bounced back in the music cycles despite the ups and down one may face in the music career.

In the song, Captain Kuda denounces racism saying “I’m back despite the fact that I’m black,” a line which was well-received by his Zimbabwean fans who said he has the guts to tackle race issues in a foreign country through his music.

Captain Kuda said he does not care if he is called a crazy maniac as long as his music is touching hearts and entertaining his fans.

In Zimbabwe, “I’m Back” has been a hit in the clubs getting played in top clubs in the uptown area much to the enjoyment of music fans.

Captain has showed maturity in the song as he poured his heart out through bouncing back with the “I’m Back” song.

He stood firm saying that he has got to do what he has to do despite what people might say behind his back.

The song encourages people not to give up on their dreams and keep on fighting hard to archive their goals in life despite the challenges that they are facing.

It also inspires people not to rely on people’s advice but to believe in one’s inner self as a key to achieve success.

In the song, Captain Kuda also echoed popular Jamaican dancehall star Capleton when he said music was a mission, not a competition.

He also fuses English and Shona in his lyrical content making the song more appealing to all age groups.

However, the “I’m Back” has received a massive response in Zimbabwe and many people have been left wanting to hear more of Captain Kuda’s music.

“Where has this guy been all the time? His music is out of this world,” recalled one of Captain Kuda’s fans in Zimbabwe.

Many people are now waiting to hear what Captain Kuda has to offer and what he is doing in Australia in the showbiz cycles.
