RISING contemporary musician Tamsanqa “Tamy” Moyo is headlining the 2019 Spar Rainbow Run taking place on Sunday at Borrowdale Racecourse in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The Spar Rainbow Run is an annual event held by Spar Zimbabwe in aid Childline, a not-for-profit organisation which counsels, comfort and protect all children in Zimbabwe through provision of a free, confidential 24 hour Child Helpline, free post service and drop in centres.
Tamy as she is popularly known in the showbiz cycles is expected to thrill a large crowd of attendants during the event.
She will be supported by the Rusike Brothers, John Cole, DJ Naida, 8th Avenue, Kelvin Marimbas and Africherry Band who are also part of the lineup expected to perform at the event.
The Spar Rainbow Run is expected to draw a large number of people of all ages who will take part in the 2.5km, 5km or 10km colour run, suitable for the whole family.
There will be a Zumba warm up session by Work-It, live coverage by Power FM and Mednet Healthcare Consultants will be providing ambulance services during the event.
Pre-registration for all interested parties is $5 per person in selected Spar stores including Spar Village, Bridge, Athienitis, Letombo, and Braeside, and registration on the day will be $10 per person or $5 if you are a Spar Rewards member.
According to Spar the event is all about hope, colour and fun as there will be plenty of giveaways and exhibitor stalls on the day.
Some of the games lined up for the day include celebrity dunk tank and tug-of-war and there will be a toddlers’ play zone for children.
