True Veins releases video
True veins release ‘Ndidewo’ video on McChevy YouTube channel today.
Forward Gurira, spokesperson of McChevy Studio, said the song ‘Ndidewo’ narrates a love story of a girl and a boy who are deeply in love but the girl’s parents do not support the relationship as they prefer to marry off their daughter to a wealthy man.
“When we shot the video we tried to show how parents destroy their children’s happiness as they stop them from marrying people they love but marry for wealth instead”, said Gurira.
As a manager who deals with people from a less privileged background, Gurira showed concern on how talent is rising only to die prematurely due to the industry giving preference to established artists in the industry.
“Marketing of the production is also a challenge because munhu agara ari muindustry ndiye anopiwa first priority,”he said.
Gurira made a call for sponsorship as he is working with a number of upcoming artists struggling financially to record their songs. Thus he pleads with well wishers to assist so he can acquire modern equipment and marketing.
‘Ndiwewo’, was shot at Machevele rural home, 10km from Epworth.
