SMALL to Medium Enterprises (SME)s from Zimbabwe are set to participate in the 2019 Jinhua China-Africa Cultural Cooperation and Exchange Week & Forum on China-Africa Economic and Trade Relations set for China from November 10 to 12.
As a central city in the Midwest of Zhejiang province, Jinhua is the third largest urban agglomeration as well as the fourth largest metropolitan area in Zhejiang.
It takes only one hour from Jinhua to Hangzhou by high-speed railway and less than two hours to Shanghai. Recently, Jinhua is advancing deeper cooperation, carrying out frequent exchange in trade, tourism and culture with African countries.
Jinhua is renowned for its big market. Last year, Jinhua realized import and export volume of 376.9 billion yuan in total, among which 65.48 billion is for Africa.
More than 3000 Africans are doing business in Jinhua.
Jinhua is characterized by its industries, Yiwu, the well-known World’s Small Commodity Distribution Center and Yongkang, the so called Science & Technology Hardware Base, are both under the direct jurisdiction of Jinhua.

Furthermore, Jinhua is committed to constructing the city China-Africa Culture and Business Cooperation and Exchange Demonstration Area.
Thus, Jinhua Municipal People’s Government is going to hold 2019 Jinhua China-Africa Cultural Cooperation and Exchange Week & Forum on China-Africa Economic and Trade Relations, which serves as a platform for promoting cultural exchange and business cooperation between China and Africa.

In an interview with Celebrity, one of the event organisers Blessing Madura in order to facilitate the business exchange and cooperation for middle and small-sized companies from both Jinhua and African countries, Jinhua Municipal People’s Government plans to hold African Brands Entering Jinhua (African Products Expo) from Nov. 11th to 13th, 2019 during the activity.
“The exhibition will set around 150 standard booths, 50 among which are African booths, 10 of which have been allocated to our African Partners Charles Nicholas Networks and 100 are local booths. Exhibition sponsor will bear the rent and booth fee, and will arrange free railway station and airport pick-up, lunch and accommodation for African companies during the activity,” he said.
Charles Nicholas is a technology company that is promoting its cross border e-commerce application *AfriZone*which links African SMEs with foreign markets, in this instance the Chinese consumer Market.
The application will have its international launch in the next 3 months. After Jinhua the next exhibition is Shanghai.
“As Charles Nicholas we’re hoping local SMEs will take this opportunity to showcase their products and connect with Chinese buyers at these exhibition and eventually on AfriZone Application.
